The Legacy Fund of our church, Stanhope Presbyterian, will receive both perpetual and memorial gifts. Perpetual gifts would ordinarily only disburse interest income, while the principal would stay intact. Memorial gifts could combine interest income and principal, as agreed upon by the donor and the church. The Fund will support all ministries of the church. Perpetual gifts would typically be evenly divided between expenses for buildings and grounds, our music ministry and mission. Of course, your perpetual gift could especially designate one or more of these areas of the church's work. Memorial gifts would function the same way. You could make a gift for the facilities, music or mission -- one, two or all.
