Planned Giving
All of us are indebted to the past, to those who precede us. We drink from wells we have not dug. We enjoy liberties we have not won. Each of us have been nurtured and shaped into people of faith because of the work of those faithful saints who have come before us.
At the same time, we are seeds for the future, for those who succeed us. The fruit of our decisions today will be known only to others whom we will not meet. We are called to partner in faith with those who have gone before us and to offer those who will follow us the blessings we know in Christ.
This web page will give you the information you need to prayerfully consider extending the ministry of Zachary United Methodist Church to future generations. Legacy giving is a way that we can continue to build on a strong foundation for those who will come after us and there are many ways to do this, ranging from including the church in your will, making a bequest, charitable gift annuity, IRA or life insurance policy, charitable trusts, and more.
If you are interested in learning more about how to include Zachary UMC in your estate plans, or about estate planning in general, please feel free to contact me or a member of our Planned Giving committee.
With great gratitude for the grace of God and for the faithfulness of God's people.
